Floq is the technical solution behind our iPRES 2024 conference app. Developed by Conference Compass, Floq aims to streamline the event experience for both organizers and attendees, providing a unified platform to handle various aspects of event coordination. This includes support for live streaming, attendee engagement, and real-time updates.
When will the iPRES 2024 conference app in Floq be available?
The iPRES 2024 conference app will be accessible as of September 9.
Important: You will receive an email from [email protected] to confirm that the app is available. Use the email address we send this email to to register for the app (it is the same email address you used to register for the conference). Otherwise we will not be able to verify your email address and to grant you access.
Web app versus mobile app?
The web app (or desktop app) is recommended for anyone following the conference remotely. The mobile app (or native app) is especially useful for those physically present at the conference.
How do I access the web app?
Follow these simple steps and get access to the web app in 2 minutes:
Click through and create an account to verify your registration. Please make sure to register using the same email address where you received the email that says the app is available (= the email address you used to register)! If not we will not be able to verify your registration, and you will not be able to log on. If you did not receive an email: please check your spam folder.
Validate your email address. You are now able to enter iPRES 2024 conference web app!
Once logged in, we encourage you to go to your profile (top right corner) to complete your biography. It will be used to introduce you as a speaker, it will also be published in the iPRES 2024 conference app to enhance networking with your peers.
Which browser will get me the best experience?
Floq recommends using Chrome or Microsoft Edge for the most stable and consistent experience. The platform is not compatible with Internet Explorer.
How do I install the mobile app?
Follow these simple steps and get access to the mobile app in 2 minutes:
Go to the App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.
Search for 'Floq by Conference Compass', and download the app.
Click on 'iPRES 2024" tile and install the event. You will be asked to create an account to verify your registration (or login if you have already done so.
Complete the process with choosing your timezone and selecting your (in)visibility in the app.
