The iPRES 2024 conference will be held in a hybrid format, combining the best of both in-person and virtual experiences. If you are unable to travel, we offer the flexibility to join us remotely from anywhere in the world.
As a remote participant, you will have access to the contents of the main conference: Tuesday through Thursday. We aim to offer as many sessions as possible available for viewing; either as live streams or recordings for delayed viewing - details on which parts of the conference will be streamed and/or recorded will be available once the programme is released.
The conference also includes a dedicated remote track specifically designed for presenters who will be joining us virtually. This track ensures that remote presenters can deliver their presentations seamlessly for both online and in-person delegates. A dedicated screening room at the conference venue will allow the on-site audience to connect with the remote presenters.
In all sessions, bridging the gap between audiences is key: one channel for all Q&A, continuous interaction via chat channels and shared networking opportunities. Moderators have an essential role in bringing both audiences closer together; they facilitate discussions, ensuring that contributions from remote attendees are woven seamlessly into the live sessions and ensuring every participant can engage.
Our hybrid conference model is designed to welcome everyone, everywhere. Whether you're in a different time zone or unable to travel, both our digital and physical spaces ensure you're part of the digital preservation community during iPRES 2024.
We aim to provide a seamless platform where online and on-site participants engage equally. Our events and sessions are set up to create a shared conference experience, bridging the gap between remote and on-site participants.
With live streaming and on-demand sessions, we ensure our conference is available to all, anytime and anywhere. Our goal is to keep the conversation going, extending the impact of our conference beyond its schedule.
Essential information flows smoothly to all participants and presenters, ensuring a cohesive experience. Our communication channels are open and responsive, keeping you well-informed and connected.
