General Information

As an online delegate, you’ll have access to all the key moments of iPRES 2024, including the opening and closing ceremonies, keynote speeches, as well as all long papers, short papers, panels, lightning talks, posters and the Great Digital Preservation Bake-Off. Additionally, you will also be able to find all posters in the Floq app and interact with their creators.

Top Tip: You’ll notice that the detailed schedule is organised into sessions, sometimes consisting of different formats such as lightning talks, papers, and more. Contributions have been grouped based on a logical thematic coherence, so be sure to join the live stream from the start to follow the full flow of ideas!

Conference App: Floq

Floq is your one-stop-shop for participating remotely at iPRES 2024.

  • Watch live or on-demand: live stream both on-site sessions and the online track or catch up with recordings at your own convenience.

  • Customise your schedule: browse the programme by day, by topic or by format and create a personal schedule to make the most of your experience.

  • Interact from home: participate in Q&A sessions, use the voting system, and engage with the content and other participants, all through the app.

Find out more about Floq and how to access it in the communication and content guide. Need help with Floq during the conference? Ask your questions via our Slack channel #helpdesk.

Top Tip: Don’t forget to join our Slack channel to connect with both online and on-site delegates, and stay engaged both synchronously and asynchronously. Stay up to date with everything by following our exclusive iPRES 2024 Newsfeed. Read more on how to join.

Online Conference Content

In addition to everything mentioned above, be sure to watch out for:

  • our iPRES 2024 Today at iPRES sessions at noon. Which morning sessions should you be rewatching and what content is especially worthwhile looking forward to? Let us help you navigate the programme.

  • iPRES Radio. This is a daily one-hour informal online session (held via Zoom) discussing iPRES 2024 for the local Australasia and Asia-Pacific community. Connect, catch up with messages from local attendees and see excerpts from recordings of sessions at the conference.

  • virtual social events, where you engage with other online attendees. Check the schedule in Floq.

Code of Conduct

All expectations outlined in the iPRES 2024 Code of Conduct should be observed by all conference delegates, including those participating remotely.
