Monday 16 September | Pre-Conference Day:
Take part in workshops on Monday - choose from a variety of options upon registration. Start the conference off with a hearty boxed lunch and mingle with the other delegates before you attend your first workshop. Explore the full Monday workshop programme here. Be sure to stay around for the Digital Preservation Awards in the evening!
Tuesday 17 September - Thursday 19 September | Main Conference:
Enjoy three full days of the conference, jam-packed with 5 panel discussions, 55 long or short paper presentations, poster sessions, lightning talks, birds of a feather sessions and 3 carefully selected keynote speeches for you to learn from, inspire you and get to know the digital preservation community across the globe.
On-site catering is included: enjoy morning and afternoon refreshment breaks and lunches with fellow attendees (17, 18 & 19 September)
Raise your glass to the first full day of the conference on Tuesday evening with a networking welcome reception where you can meet fellow delegates and speakers.

Friday 20 September | Post-Conference Day:
Spend a day in Flanders and get an exclusive look behind the scenes in organisations and institutions across Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels, Bruges, Leuven and Ypres. Discover the professional visit options at a glance here and make your choice upon registration.
As an all-in-attendance delegate, you also have access to all recordings of the full online programme through the conference app.

We are happy to offer the opportunity and flexibility to participate online: join us remotely from anywhere in the world at our lowest price to take part in three days of the conference.
This is what is included in the online attendance fee:
Three jam-packed days of selected live-streamed sessions, recordings and exclusive online content.
Attend the three keynote speeches, opening and closing ceremony virtually via live-stream, from the comfort of your own home.
Interact with both fellow online and on-site attendees via the conference app.
We aim to combine the best of both in-person and virtual experiences and bridge the gap between audiences as much as possible. If you are unable to travel to Ghent, this is the right option for you to get the most out of the iPRES 2024 programme!

We are proud to offer this accessible option for anyone who would like to join our Monday workshops on-site. For a total of just 99 EUR, you get:

attendance at hands-on and inspiring workshops of your choice - choose from a wide variety of topics and register for the sessions of your choice upon registration. Please note: first come, first served - sessions have a maximum capacity.

Cancellation policy and changes
Before September 1: Full refund, excluding administration fee of € 100.00
From September 1 until September 10: 50% refund
As of September 10, 2024 or if the participant fails to attend: no refund
All refunds will be processed and issued within 60 days after the meeting.
There are no administration fees for changes of registration type before September 1, 2024. After that time, the above cancellation policy applies.
